The beautiful Florida Keys is home to the most unique and vibrant ecosystem in the world. Just minutes offshore is the only coral reef in the United States. The Florida Keys shoreline is lined with an intricate mangrove forest. This mangrove habitat serves as a nursery for juvenile fish that eventually mature and migrate through the shoreline maze of waterways out to the coral reef. Many species of birds and animals, including docile manatees, inhabit our mangrove lined waters.
